Alliance will retain the roster it brought together last year—the reunited side that won them The International 3 in 2013.

The team of Jonathan “Loda” Berg, Gustav “s4” Magnusson, Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg, Jerry “EGM” Lundkvist, and Joakim “Akke” Akterhall reaped instant success with victory at the World Cyber Arena in December before finishing in the top eight at the Shanghai Major.

The team had a promising start in the Shanghai Major, topping their group, but only reached the top eight after a loss to CompLexity. Despite this, the team is sticking with its roster at least until the end of the year.

Alliance are the first team to lock in a completely unchanged roster. Others are bringing in changes. Team Spirit, who lost to Alliance in Shanghai, have dropped Roman “RamseS666” Kushnarev and Vasily “AfterLife” Shishkin with Gleb “Funn1k” Lipatnikov joining from Team Empire to take Kushnarev’s place.

The upcoming March 27 roster deadline will confirm not only the rosters for June’s Manila Major but also for The International 2016.
