After the Daily Dot published a report on the accusations against Stephen “Aldaris” Moore—made by former players Wolfgang “Cube” Schwarz and Jaakko “Jagelius” Koski—several other former Alloy players and staff came forward on Twitter and Reddit, with their own stories of mismanagement and unprofessional behavior. Altogether, they painted a picture of a critically mismanaged organization, with Moore often behaving dishonestly and even deceptively. The community reaction was predictably condemning.

In the aftermath, Moore issued a statement on the forums of popular StarCraft website Team Liquid. “I made mistakes,” Moore wrote, admitting to being dishonest. ” I have not been honest with myself more than anyone else… It is clear that I do not have enough experience, regardless of my four years of education in business and management, to effectively and properly own and operate an organization in esports.”

What is less clear is when, if at all, Moore will pay back the money that is owed to the players, especially Wolfgang “Cube” Schwarz who claims to be owed close to $1500 in back salary, expenses, and cost of flights.
