There’s nothing quite like a live event in Fortnite when gamers log in from all over the world to join together and experience something special.
There’s another event coming soon in Fortnite toward the end of Chapter Five, season three, to lead into the new season that begins on Aug. 16. It’s just days away from now, and it looks to be filled with new and exciting secrets for fans of the game.
Here’s exactly when to log on, tune in, or drop in for the next big Fortnite live event.
When is the Fortnite live event?
According to the in-game countdown seen at Redline Rig, the live event in Chapter Five, season three will begin at 1pm CT on Saturday, Aug. 10. The Fortnite event countdown below shows exactly how much time is left between now and then:
Leakers describe this event as a “mini event,” similar to the Pandora’s Box opening last season, as opposed to a full-fledged spectacle event like the ones that take place at the end of chapters.
If the leaks are to be believed, this event will lead to Chapter Five, season four, which is said to be themed around Marvel characters such as the Fantastic Four and Dr. Doom. The X-Men have already been data mined as new shop additions for the coming weeks, so don’t be surprised if they’re joined by fellow heroes and villains soon.
Regardless of what’s to come next season, there are now less than two weeks to finish everything in Chapter Five, season three, including unlocking the Magneto skin and all other related quests as well as the battle pass. So, the clock is ticking for both the event and the season, and there’s no better time than now to drop in.
