The giant purple cube in Fortnite has spawned hellish demons in the recent Fortnitemares event, created Corrupted Areas, and, in general, it’s been a big nuisance over the past few months. And now, it’s apparently set to drastically change the game during today’s mysterious event.

The event is set to begin at 12pm CT, but you must be in a match before this time to get the chance to see what happens.

You’ll also need to be in a normal battle royale game and not in a Playground lobby to see this live event. Be sure to keep a good distance away from other players who might be looking to spoil your fun.

The cube is showing cracks and spewing liquid right now, so many fans will be eager to check out Leaky Lake to see what else happens. This isn’t Fortnite’s first live event and it surely won’t be the last. But if you want to see it for yourself, you better prepare to log into the game before 12pm CT.

Fortnite’s Halloween-themed event, Fortnitemares, is also coming to a close today, so be sure to complete all of the challenges to unlock exclusive loot before it’s gone for good.
