It was a close match, too.

Renowned Fortnite streamer Turner “Tfue” Tenney challenged a stream sniper to a series of build battles after being impressed by their skill on Saturday.

The FaZe Clan player was one of two left standing in a public match of Fortnite when he found his opponent standing on top of a built structure. Instead of pulling out a weapon and engaging Tfue, the player ran to the other side of the building, almost teasing him to a challenge.

Even with Tfue standing right behind, the opponent didn’t start shooting, but instead initiated a challenge to a build battle. After burning through resources and chasing each other through a labyrinth of builds, the stream sniper emerged victorious.

Tfue wasn’t satisfied, however. He reviewed the footage to find the player’s username (Fake Jojopyun), sent them a friend request, and started a game in Creative mode. From that point on, Tfue’s viewers were treated to more than 20 rounds of build-off battles with the challenger.

According to viewers, the final tally was 10 wins for Fake Jojopyun, and 12 for Tfue. Although Tfue reigned supreme, to be able to compete so closely with a professional Fortnite player says a lot about Jojopyun’s ability.
