Shopping Carts have been re-enabled in Fortnite: Battle Royale nearly a week after being taken out (again).
Since being added into Fortnite: Battle Royale at the end of May, Shopping Carts, the first vehicle in the game, have had a troublesome time. The carts have had major glitches throughout the game, leading to players being able to go under the map, receive no fall damage, and even fly randomly.
Epic disabled the vehicles for the first time on June 11. Since then, the carts have been disabled and re-enabled a few times, with June 20 being the last day they were disabled. Today marks the third time they have been put back in to the game after being disabled.
For the most part, it seems fans have enjoyed the carts. Having the ability to get around the map a little quicker and in a little more entertaining manner is a great thing for players, and some have even suggested adding more vehicles, including paddle boats for Loot Lake.
While it’s not likely the Shopping Carts will stick around for an extended period of time before Epic pulls them out again for additional work, maybe a week of testing and fixing will prove to be just the thing the vehicles needed.
