A new trap could be added to Fortnite: Battle Royale soon—but it doesn’t seem like Epic Games intended to reveal it quite yet.

A new in-game News message briefly went live earlier today and it revealed that a Poison Trap is “coming soon.” “Watch your step lest you trigger a trap,” the message reads.

The message was quickly deleted from the game—but, of course, it wasn’t removed before fans captured a screengrab.

This trap could be added to the game as soon as Wednesday, which is when the next major Fortnite update will go live.

New game modes and bug fixes are expected to be implemented in the v8.20 update—and now it seems like this new trap could also be added to the game this week. We’ll find out for sure, though, when the v8.20 update goes live on Wednesday, March 27 at 4am CT.
