Fortnite: Battle Royale players who purchased the GeForce Fortnite Bundle of cosmetic items will get a new variant of the Counterattack set, a fan has revealed in a screengrab of a customer service message.
GoProVI took to Reddit and shared a reply from the customer service of Fortnite developer Epic Games with what seems to be an inquiry for more information about the Counterattack set. This set includes the Reflex outfit, the Pivot glider, the Angular Axe pickaxe, and the Response Unit back bling—and it was supposed to be granted as an exclusive bonus to players who bought select GeForce video cards made by Nvidia.
The Nvidia Bundle was revealed in late November 2018. Despite the set being advertised as an exclusive pack, Epic later put the pack on sale in the Item Shop for any Fortnite player to purchase. Players who bought the GeForce bundle complained to Epic, which admitted it shouldn’t have done this. “Due to this mistake, we will be granting a new variant of the Counterattack set to all owners who have acquired the Counterattack set through the Nvidia Bundle,” Epic’s reply reads. “Additional information about the new variant will be provided in game once available.”

Skin variants are generally different colors of the same skin, or they have a slight model change that’s notable enough to other players in a match when compared to the base model. Since Epic said it will provide another variant of the whole set, players who bought the GeForce Fortnite Bundle should expect a new model of all four cosmetic items.
Players who bought the Counterattack set when it was available in the Item Shop will keep their items, but won’t receive the exclusive variants when they’re released.
