According to a post on X, the LEGO Fortnite Lost Isles update begins on Sept. 17. There are no confirmed times for when the update will drop, but the Fortnite servers tend to go offline for a few hours prior to big updates at around 1am PT / 3am CT / 4am ET / 9am BST. The update will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, as well as both iOS (if you can play on it) and Android via the Epic Games app.

Below, there’s a handy countdown primed and ready so you can keep track of just how many hours you need to wait until the update is available to play. It could take a couple of hours for the update to be patched in fully by Epic Games, and sometimes the game needs to be shut down for a longer period of time. We’ll keep you posted if this happens.

Much like the previous Star Wars update, we’re pretty sure there will be a new battle pass. That said, details on what the Lost Isles update has are scarce so far. However, thanks to iFireMonkey on YouTube, we do know that the Klombos are making their grand return. These gentle giant beasts appeared in the regular battle royale mode a few years ago, launching players into the skies via their blowhole. Of course, when attacked, they could annihilate players with their earth-shattering stomps. It’s unclear if this will be how they act in the LEGO Fortnite Lost Isles update, but at the very least, it gives us an idea of what’s to come.

Additionally, LEGO Fortnite streamers were sent a box containing some trinkets, such as an exclusive LEGO Klombo figure. Also inside this box was a flashlight that illuminated the update’s release date on a card, as well as a silhouette of a creature that looked similar to the boss monsters. There was also a sticker featuring a new Tribal Lego Peely skin. This could be a new LEGO Fortnite rare villager you can encounter and attract to your settlements.
