To destroy the nine false pieces of eight on the island, you must visit nine different spots around the island and destroy some small dolls sitting on the ground. It’s best to use your pickaxe on them, which means breaking them is fairly easy, since you don’t need any additional weapons or tools.

While breaking all nine false pieces of eight is easy, tracking them down is tough. There are:

  • Three false pieces of eight at Pleasant Piazza.
  • Three false pieces of eight at Lavish Lair.
  • Three false pieces of eight at Grand Glacier.
