A new set of weekly Fortnite: Battle Royale challenges is now available. This is the third week of season eight, and as usual, there are three challenges unlocked for all players and four additional ones for the owners of this season’s Battle Pass.
Players can go to any default game mode like Solo, Duos, and Squads to complete these weekly challenges, as well as Limited Time Modes of any kind, including The Getaway and big-team modes like Team Rumble. Playground won’t allow players to progress through any challenge, though.
A general tip for completing weekly challenges is to always enable Party Assist when playing with friends and checking if big-team modes can give you an easier time completing them. In general, challenges about dealing damage and eliminating opponents are easier if done in respawn-enabled modes since you have several tries at gunfights.

Tips and tricks
- Activate Party Assist if you’re playing with friends, especially in challenges that would be too hard to complete in a single match.
- Use Limited Time Modes to complete certain challenges with ease, like respawn-enabled mode for challenges in which you have to eliminate several opponents or use different weapons.
- Trap slot items include Cozy Campfires, Launch Pads, and any item that goes in the same slot as traps. Just place them to complete this challenge.
All players who complete this third week of challenges along with the previous two will be able to find a new secret Battle Star in week three.
