Would this assassin-style Limited Time Mode work in Fortnite: Battle Royale?

This concept would add Assassin's Creed and a little bit of Hitman into Fortnite.

A Fortnite: Battle Royale fan suggested a concept for a future Limited Time Mode, and it might attract supporters of the Assassin’s Creed series.

A Reddit user posted a LTM concept to the Fortnite: Battle Royale subreddit, which would turn the game into mini one-vs-one combat battles by making players into both assassins and targets. The assassins would each have one target, which would be specifically marked on the map. But at the same time, another player would know exactly where they were and be tracking them down as well.

In this LTM, players would only deal damage and eliminate their targets or assassins. Once a player is eliminated, the assassin that the player died to would acquire their target—and this trend would continue until only one player remains.

In addition to the assassin-target relationship, Reddit user “hhreplica1013” suggested an increase in Sniper Rifles and Suppressed Pistols to presumably give the game a more assassin-style vibe. Not only would this likely resonate with Assassin’s Creed fans, but maybe even some Hitman players, too.

Fans and developers alike are always looking for new ways to freshen up the game and make it as fun as possible, so this theorized LTM might just be the thing to entertain players. The mode would probably be a bit boring when a target is all the way across the map, but it’d likely be pretty interesting in most other cases.

Although it would probably hit a few snags with Assassin’s Creed developers Ubisoft, this concept might be one of the best LTM suggestions yet.
