After confirming that the team was working on a new Guilty Gear game and reconfirming the release of a second line of DLC characters for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, the company revealed plans for a new anime-focused fighting game series called ArcRevo World Tour.

The World Tour will feature tournaments for three of Arc Systems games, including BlazBlue: Central Fiction, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, and Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2—and there will be over $100,000 worth of cash prizes on the line shared between all three titles.

The World Tour will have a number of qualifier events at multiple majors around the world. The first 10 events to be revealed include Evo, Texas Showdown, Frosty Faustings, and CEO in North America, Revolution 2018, Brussels Challenge, and Headstomper in Europe, and ArcRevo Japan, Evo Japan, and South East Asia Majors in Asia.

More qualifiers for major regions will be announced at a later date—and Arc Systems promised to reveal more details about the whole tournament sometime in the future.

The winners of these qualifiers will secure a spot at ArcEvo America 2019, which will take place in Los Angeles. This event promises to be the largest international ArcRevo tournament ever held. The venue and date for the finals have yet to be revealed.
