Sometimes life gets the best of us and we miss things that we normally don’t, like big news in Dota. But don’t worry, we have you covered. Here are the biggest stories coming from this week:

  • Evil Geniuses defeated OG in the marathon that was the Dota Pit League Season 5 Finals
  • Pittner “bOne7” Armand left Kaipi to become the coach of Team NP
  • Phase 3 (group play) of the Starladder i-League Season 3 qualifiers began for the American and European regions, while the Southeast Asian region completed the final phase:
    • Team Liquid leads the European Division with a 4-3-0 record
    • Digital Chaos and Team NP are tied for the lead of the American division with 2-1-0 records
    • TnC Pro Team qualified for SL i-League LAN Finals through the Southeast Asian division with a record of 5-1-1
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas returned to Dota by signing the roster of Era, H4nn1, qojqva, syndereN, and Trixi
  • Valve surprised the community by announcing the Dark Moon event
  • FNATIC withdrew from the Dota 2 Asian Championships SEA qualifiers and were replaced by Next Gen
