AGDQ is one of two charity speedrunning events that’s hosted by GamesDoneQuick. The marathons happen twice a year, bringing in thousands of viewers to watch their favorite speedrunners destroy some of their beloved games and, in turn, donate millions of dollars to charity. The runners come from all corners of the globe, and it’s easily the world’s biggest speedrunning event.

This year’s marathon began on Jan. 6 and still has two more days left before it concludes. The event is still open for donations at the time of writing, and fans can still help raise more money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

The total, however, is still over $1 million away from breaking the record set by AGDQ 2018. That event raised $2.26 million to become the best GDQ marathon in history.

Once AGDQ concludes on Sunday, fans will need to wait for the next marathon. Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) isn’t slated to begin until June or July.

Anyone who misses one of their favorite speedruns can still catch up with everything on YouTube, where VODs are being posted each day.
