New Black Ops 6 feature will likely lead to many bans

A new way to trash talk.

With Black Ops 6 quickly approaching and more details dropping from Treyarch, the hype around the latest addition to the globally-renowned franchise is reaching a fever pitch. But now, the developers have revealed another hilarious feature that should make for incredible content and raucous trash talk online.

Treyarch devs confirmed that using the Body Shield mechanic in Black Ops 6 multiplayer will even enable voice chat between the attacker and victim, allowing both players to yell their grievances at their opponents before the final blow is dealt.

It’s a feature that has delighted players around the world, since this gives them another venue to trash talk their enemies after they’ve knocked them down. The Body Shield is meant to be used as a way to survive an incoming attack by using an enemy player to soak up a barrage of bullets, while firing back your own.

Unsurprisingly, the Call of Duty community has predicted this feature will be mainly used to berate their foes, especially in Warzone, where there is much more time to hold an enemy hostage while you tell them how much better you are at the game. You can talk as much as you’d like, before finally executing them for extra insult to injury.

Hilariously enough, Treyarch asked the player base to “be nice” when scooping up an enemy for a Body Shield, but most fans know exactly how things will play out. This means that there could be even more instances where players are reported for rampant trash talk, especially with more salty players getting roasted after losing a gunfight.

This addition has added yet another aspect to help Black Ops 6 stand out among the countless titles in the franchise, and with CoD being notorious for its trash talking, it only makes sense to feed into the culture with this feature. We’re going back to our roots with some good old fashioned trash talk, except it’s right in your ear before you’re sent back to the lobby.
