Activision, the game’s publisher, put up over $3 million in prize winnings this year and partnered with ESL to run the league.

Of the 10 teams in the European league, the bottom 4 will play in a relegation tournament to retain their spot for Stage 2. Stage 1 is not quite complete yet for the top 6 teams, who will be facing off on LAN and splitting a $200,000 prize pool among them.
