Does Black Ops 6 have round-based Zombies?

Call of Duty Round-based Zombies was almost compulsory at one point, but recent COD titles have left the zombies community wondering if the round-based format is returning in Black Ops 6.

COD Vanguard’s Zombies stained the legendary game mode’s reputation. Zombies suffered from behind-the-scenes turmoil and rushed development, leaving us with an undercooked and uninspired game mode.

MWZ was fun, but last year’s Zombies-extraction mode only reminded us all that round-based was absent once again. Treyarch is the master of Zombies, so let’s see if the holy grail has returned to its pedestal in Black Ops 6.

Is round-based zombies in COD Black Ops 6?

Round-based Zombies makes its triumphant return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6—and the news has been locked in by developer Treyarch itself.

Black Ops 6’s Zombies content was revealed on Aug. 9, courtesy of the explosive and enthralling “Round-Based Zombies Terminus Reveal Trailer.” The developer also released a detailed blog featuring a plethora of gameplay news.

“Get ready to play this Round-Based Zombies map at the launch of Black Ops 6 on Oct. 25, along with the Liberty Falls map.”

The blog mentions the word “Outbreak” twice, but it doesn’t allude to the open-world-orientated Zombies mode introduced by Treyarch in the Black Ops Cold War. We’ll see if Outbreak returns down the line, and for now, read about everything we know about Black Ops 6 Zombies.
