Players have been waiting a long time for Apex Legends Mobile, the mobile version of Respawn Entertainment’s well-known shooter Apex Legends. In the last year, Respawn has allowed players in certain regions to beta test the game and held a limited launch for a handful of countries.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer, though. A few weeks ago, Respawn teased a May launch for Apex Legends Mobile, which will start with 10 different legends and classic versions of popular maps. Players can still pre-register to receive a variety of in-game rewards based on the total number of pre-registrations around the world. And with its launch fast approaching, players will soon dive into their favorite maps and even new game modes.
When is Apex Legends Mobile‘s release date?
Apex Legends Mobile will release on May 17 to players around the world. The game will be available in both the Apple App Store and Android’s Google Play Store. While Respawn hasn’t released much information about the game itself yet, it’s being developed in part by Lightspeed and Quantum Studios, two Tencent-owned companies that also helped develop PUBG Mobile.
Upon release, players will need to make sure that their devices match the minimum system requirements to play. Apple players will need an iPhone 6S or later that’s running at least iOS 11.0. They’ll also need at least an A9 CPU, 4GB of free space, and at least 2GB of RAM. Android users will need Android 6.0 or later, Open GL 3.1 or higher, 4GB of free space, and at least 2GB of RAM.
