Don't worry, Khan (probably) isn't going anywhere.

KINGZONE DragonX, 2018 LCK Spring Split champions and MSI runners-up, are recruiting players for all five in-game roles, according to the team’s announcement on Twitter today.

KINGZONE, formally known as Longzhu Gaming, also won the 2017 Summer Split and qualified for the quarterfinals at Worlds in the same year. Considering all their accomplishments in the past year alone, the fact that they’re openly recruiting for all roles is very significant for the region.

It’s possible that some of these new players will become starters on the team, but it’s more likely that they’re picked up as substitutes. After all, when the team was still Longzhu, they had a sub for every single role aside from one, so they’ve done it in the past. Subs Jang “Zzus” Joon-soo, Yoon “Justice” Seok-joon, and Lee “Hybrid” Woo-jin all left the team when it was rebranded to KINGZONE.

That being said, there’s only one role in particular whose future is uncertain. If KINGZONE really did recruit a new player for every single role, that would mean they’d have three total junglers—Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan and Han “Peanut” Wang-ho who already share the role, as well as the new player. While it’s not likely that any of the current players will lose their starting positions, if any did it would probably be Peanut or Cuzz due to the potential difficulties of juggling three junglers on the same roster. We don’t think that would be terribly wise on the part of the team, however, because of Peanut and Cuzz’s stellar performances this past year.

KINGZONE DragonX are currently tied for first in the LCK with a 6-2 record. Their next game is against MVP this Thursday at 6am CT.
