Ninjas in Pyjamas and Penta Esports are the two latest teams to join the list of invites to IEM Oakland’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Invitational.
NiP and Penta are the eighth and ninth teams to be invited, leaving three teams left to be announced out of the 12 scheduled for invites. The final eight teams will enter the FPP Squads tournament via an online qualifier.
NiP’s team is made up of Karl Johan “Ekkz” Kallevik, Stian “Borg” Stakset, Drew “Sweaterr” Miser, and Adam “Crunch” Escobedo. The latter two members joined via a transfer from Cloud9 earlier in the month.
Penta Esports’ roster includes Erik “SimsysOfDoom” Gravrok, Patrick “Frosz” Iu, Mikael “Ultra” Andersen, and Jim “Jeemzz” Eliassen. The German-based organization’s team has been competing in PUBG Online events.
The $200,000 PUBG Invitational at IEM Oakland takes place Nov. 18 and 19 at The Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
