The Call of Duty World League is heading to the United Kingdom in 2019 for one open event, and the location of the tournament has finally been revealed.
The United Kingdom event will be held in London, England, according to version 1.1 of the 2019 CWL Pro League handbook. The exact venue of the event was not included in the handbook, although that will likely be announced in the near future.
In the handbook, there is a section titled, “Open Events,” which included the previously-announced locations of Fort Worth, Texas, as well as Anaheim, but London was also included. Both CWL Fort Worth and CWL Anaheim were announced at the CWL Las Vegas Open in December, but no city had been named for the UK tournament.
The date of the London event has not been announced either, but it will likely be held sometime in May. The Fort Worth tournament will run from March 15 to 17, while Anaheim is set for June 14 to 16. The CWL Pro League playoffs will follow the Anaheim tournament, serving as one of the final stops before the 2019 CWL Championship.
