The players will wear the colors of NYXL—two different shades of blue with a hint of red. The roster is as follows:

  • Joong “Janus” Hwa – Tank
  • Dong-gyu “Mano” Kim – Tank
  • Kim “Mek0” Tae Hong – Off-Tank

Most of the roster is comprised of former LW Blue players, though Libero comes from Meta Athena and ArK from LW Red.

“It is an amazing opportunity to have NYXL be part of a brand new professional league and representing the city of New York,” Sterling.VC co-founder Jeff Wilpon said in a statement. “We’ve put together a strong team and look forward to competing at the highest level.” The Overwatch League begins on Dec. 6 with its preseason exhibition matches, where all 12 founding teams will compete. The regular season is scheduled to begin on Jan. 10 and continue into June. Finals will be held in July 2018.
