A Universe 11 fighter is Dragon Ball FighterZ’s next DLC character

Is Jiren on his way?

Bandai Namco has confirmed that new characters are on the horizon for its flagship fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ—and the first comes from Universe 11.

Universe 11’s fighters were a group of characters introduced in the Tournament of Power ark of the Dragon Ball Super anime, and they were the final test for Goku and his friends from Universe 7.

This leads us to believe that Jiren, the strongest fighter from Universe 11, will eventually make his debut in FighterZ. The actual DLC character will be revealed during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour finals held from Jan. 26 to 27.

Of course, the character could always be one of the other fighters from Universe 11, such as Toppo or Dispo. But with Jiren’s popularity and strength, everything seems to point to him potentially being revealed next week.

On top of confirming the next season of DLC fighters, Bandai also revealed a host of Dragon Ball news this past week, including Super Dragon Ball Heroes coming to the West. A brand-new Dragon Ball game is also on the horizon.
