Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Venom will all join the roster as the third, fourth, and fifth playable characters to be added as DLC since the game launched in September.

Winter Soldier, also known as Bucky Barnes, was Captain America’s friend and sidekick during World War II before being captured and experimented on to become a hitman for the enemy. He came to the mainstream in the 2014 movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Black Widow is well known to Marvel fans thanks to her portrayal by Scarlett Johansson in a number of movies, including both Avengers films. In-game, she is a deadly fighter who uses her shock gauntlets and batons with deadly efficiency.

Last but certainly not least is fan-favorite Spider-Man villain, Venom. Venom is the product of an alien symbiote attaching to Eddie Brock, a rival of Peter Parker. As the symbiote was attached to Spider-Man before him, Venom has many of the same abilities as Spidey, on top of insane strength and a penchant for brutality.

These three characters join Capcom’s Sigma and Monster Hunter, and Marvel’s Black Panther as DLC characters. All three will be available to play in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite on Dec. 5.
