NFL player Le’Veon Bell is wearing CoD-themed cleats for charity this week

One of the most electric running backs in the NFL will be representing the Call of Duty Endowment this week.

Le’Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers posted pictures of his cleats on Twitter earlier today. The red, white, and blue cleats represent the Call of Duty Endowment, which is a non-profit organization that works to help veterans find careers after they’ve completed their military service.

Bell will wear these cleats prior to the Steelers’ Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 4.

This isn’t the first time that Bell and Call of Duty have teamed up. Bell is featured in Call of Duty: WWII’s Headquarters mode—he’s the soldier you talk to if you want to prestige your divisions.

These cleats are a part of the NFL’s My Cleats, My Cause campaign. Players will wear charitable cleats this week, and fans can bid on them, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the player’s charity of choice.

Bell’s cleats are a fantastic tribute to the nation’s military, and it’s great to see the Call of Duty Endowment working with the NFL to spread awareness of this charitable cause.

Update Dec. 1 1:10pm CT: Alejandro Villanueva, an offensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers, also plans to wear cleats to support the Call of Duty Endowment.

Just like Bell, Villanueva is featured in Call of Duty: WWII’s Headquarters mode—he’s the soldier standing on the right side of the Firing Range.
