Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black are all from the recent anime adaptation of the series, Dragon Ball Super. They are three of five Dragon Ball Super characters to be included in the game, after the two pre-order bonus characters of Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta.

Beerus, the God of Destruction, is an overwhelmingly powerful character that can lock opponents in place through a stun ability to then deal massive amounts of damage. He can also generate spheres that explode when touched by an opponent, making for some interesting zoning combat.

Hit mainly relies on speed and his unique time skip ability. His ability allows him to freeze the stage for everyone but himself, leaving opponents open to a quick flurry of attacks. He is a technical fighter that requires precision in the heat of battle.

Goku Black, or Zamasu as he is known in the anime, can create clones of himself to trick opponents. He also has an ability to turn his hand into a blade, allowing him to deal more damage with basic attacks then he could before with a regular punch.

The inclusion of these characters brings the total roster to 23 player fighters so far, with more expected to be announced before the game’s official release.

Dragon Ball FighterZ launches Jan. 26 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
