IEM CS:GO Rio Major Champions Stage bracket

The playoffs bracket for the Brazilian Major is made with the help of Bucholz system. In this system, the seeding of a team is determined by the results of their past opponents. Teams that advanced to playoffs with a 3-0 score (Cloud9 and FURIA) are the strongest-seeded teams in the playoffs and won’t be able to face each other until the final of the tournament.

The single-elimination Champions Stage bracket looks as follows:

Bracket A

  • Cloud9 vs. MOUZ
  • Outsiders vs. Fnatic

Bracket B

  • FURIA vs. NAVI
  • Heroic vs. Team Spirit

All the playoff matches are best-of-threes and there will not be any simultaneous matches in Champions Stage.

The first set of quarterfinals will be played on Nov. 10, the remaining will be played on Nov. 11, the semifinals will run on Nov. 12, and the grand finals will be played at 1pm CT on Nov. 13 after the Brazil vs. Sweden showmatch featuring the likes of Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, Marcelo “coldzera” David, and Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund.
