The teaser website promises more details on just where DreamHack will appear in the U.S. on July 8.

The company began hosting small local area network (LAN) parties in a school basement in 1994, but it quickly grew to be the largest in the planet. In 2002, it moved from an annual gathering to semiannual event, and have continued growing since. It eventually moved to esports and has become one of the premier esports event hosts and production teams in Europe, awarding more than $3 million in prizes over their history, including more than $375,000 through the DreamHack Summer season that ended in June.

DreamHack isn’t the first large esports outfit from Europe to make the move to North America: last year, ESL jumped into the market by buying up local event hosting mercenaries Esports Services and now regularly host major events across the country. But even with ESL in the mix, there’s still plenty of room for DreamHack to operate in America.
