Rostermania has officially begun following the end of the Call of Duty: WWII season.

The 2018 Call of Duty World League Championship concluded on Sunday, and four days later, the first major roster move has been made.

European veteran Dylan “MadCat” Daly revealed that he won’t be competing with Splyce in Black Ops 4.

“I am no longer apart of Splyce,” MadCat said. “[It] was a decent run but everything comes to an end at one point. [To] keep it simple, the team no longer became a team a long time ago, which is not good for anyone. I am not restricted and will be on the lookout for a team.”

MadCat spent the past two seasons with Splyce—he was a part of the lineup that won Stage One of the CWL Global Pro League in May 2017. But the European roster had an up-and-down season during WWII.

Despite making two grand finals appearances at CWL Dallas in December 2017 and CWL Birmingham in April, Splyce struggled down the stretch after acquiring Joshua-Lee “Joshh” Shephard.

Splyce’s season abruptly ended last week with a top 24 placing at CoD Champs 2018—the organization’s worst placing at a Call of Duty event.

It remains unclear what the future holds for the rest of Splyce’s current roster: Ben Bance, Jordan “Jurd” Crowley, and Joshh. MadCat will also be looking for a new team heading into the upcoming season, which officially begins on Dec. 7 with the first Black Ops 4 event of the year: CWL Las Vegas.
