The French squad took down Team SoloMid for the title, marking three straight victories for the team over its Danish rivals since a major roster shakeup earlier this summer.

EnVyUs won in dominating form, going undefeated (not even dropping a single map) the entire weekend as they blew past EZSkins, Team Dignitas, and Copenhagen Wolves on their way to the final. AWPer Kenny “KennyS” Schrub looked in top form throughout the tournament, finally emerging from a slump that’s typified his play over the past few months.

The team’s success at DreamHack London shows that its loses against Virtus.Pro and Ninjas in Pyjamas at the ESEA ESL Pro League event in Dubai from Sept. 10 to 11 may have been just a fluke.

EnVyUs resurgence began after a trade deal with fellow French side Titan on July 20 that saw AWPer Richard “shox” Papillon and entry-fragger Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux swap places with Titan’s Schrub and Dan “apEX” Madesclaire. While EnVyUs has been on a roll after the trade deal, Titan’s results have been mediocre.
