Tadayoshi “Hermit” Littleton will be Origen’s on-stage coach ahead of the 2015 League of Legends World Championship.

The news of Littleton’s hire comes after former coach Titus “Ducky” Hafner stepped down on Sept. 1. In a Twitlonger announcing his departure, Hafner cited how difficult it was to be an authority figure to the veteran lineup of pros, which includes Enrique “xPeke” Cedeño Martínez, Paul “sOAZ” Boyer, and others.

Littleton has worked mainly as an analyst for the team over the past seven months. He joined the squad, alongside Michael “Veteran” Archer, on Feb. 20, shortly after it successfully qualified for the European Challenger Series.

The team released Archer of his duties in April, but Littleton remained as the team transitioned into the professional circuit after qualifying for the League Championship Series.

Since January 2015, the LCS has required that a coach for each team participate on stage for the pick and ban phase. Both the North American and European scenes have since seen a number coaches rotate through various teams.
