Fnatic and H2k-Gaming secured the final two spots after winning the European team fan votes. League of Legends 2015 World Championship semi-finalists Fnatic ran away with the five-team poll, securing 41 percent of the votes.

Though Fnatic took first place in the poll, the roster that lines up at IEM Cologne will look very different to the one that took part in worlds. Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon and Kim “Reignover” Yeu-jin have both left the team for an as-yet unknown North American organization, and long-time support player Bora “YellOwStaR” Kim has also left the team to move across the pond.

Things were a little closer for H2k-Gaming, beating out ROCCAT to the second spot with 21 percent. Ironically, the H2k lineup that fans will see in Cologne will reportedly include former ROCCAT players Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski and support Oskar “VandeR” Bogdan, who have recently signed with the team.

The third team added to the tournament today are the new-look Team Dignitas, who will be replacing Team Liquid. Liquid withdrew from the tournament earlier today, saying they want to focus on securing their roster for the upcoming season.

IEM Cologne will be the first outing for the new look Dignitas side. Alongside retained players mid laner Danny “Shiphtur” Le and support Alan “KiWiKiD” Nguyen, the team has signed Lennart “SmittyJ” Warkus, Thomas “Kirei” Yuen and Apollo Price.

The tournament takes place Dec. 18-20 from ESL‘s Cologne studios.
