Los Angeles Valiant has a new official sponsor—gaming peripheral brand Razer.
The sponsorship deal is part of a larger partnership with the Immortals esports organization, according to the press release. Razer will act as the “exclusive peripherals partner” for both the Immortals organization and the Los Angeles Valiant. All teams will use Immortals gear, and the new Immortals mobile division will use the Razer Phone.

“Team Razer is committed to fostering a roster of passionate and truly ambitious esports players,” Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan said in a statement. “Immortals and Los Angeles Valiant exude a caliber of excellence that makes our partnership with them a natural fit, and one that we are very excited to support.”
Local events are included in the Razer and Los Angeles Valiant partnership, though neither side has provided any details on those yet.
Immortals has amassed an impressive array of corporate partnerships. Among those is Lionsgate—the entertainment giant is a major shareholder in the esports brand. The partnership, inked in January 2017, funds content across all of Immortals teams, including for League of Legends, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros., and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Lionsgate and Immortals have furthered that partnership in April 2018 by adding a deal with Mountain Dew to bring extensive original programming to the esports brand.
In February, Razer signed a two-year sponsorship deal with another Overwatch League organization, Gen. G. Then known as KSV Esports, the company owns Seoul Dynasty. Dallas Fuel player Brandon “Seagull” Larned is also sponsored by Razer, as well as League of Legends team SK Telecom T1.
