I feel Splyce will be looking to go out with a bang. I think they, like G2 Esports, feel that pending a miracle, they are stranded to go back to the EU LCS next season without progressing through to the next round. Knowing this, I feel Splyce can practically pick and choose who they want to go through and I feel that’s where teams will lose games this week if anywhere. When you have nothing to lose, that’s when you can play more relaxed and steal a win. I still feel as though this is TSM’s group to lose. At this stage, I feel second place will be a disappointing turn out, considering how they were able to bounce back after their first day loss, while RNG and SSG will practically know they are fighting for a second place finish at this stage. We could still technically see SPY steal it from both of them, but that is more of a wait-and-see occurrence for now. I feel RNG is the more likely of the two to progress, with TSM just going off of their regional form and they looked incredibly strong until they met SSG on the last day of Group D’s competition. But I feel going off that, they won’t let the same mistakes happen again, and will be out for Samsung blood on that night. Regardless, here are my predictions for the last group of Worlds; let the games begin.

GROUP STAGE – WEEK TWO PREDICTIONS

  • SSG vs. TSM  –  TSM
  • SPY vs. RNG  –  RNG
  • TSM vs. SPY –  TSM
  • SSG vs. RNG  –  RNG
  • SPY vs. SSG –  SPY
  • RNG vs. TSM  –  TSM
