Capcom teased the 2017 Street Fighter V Capcom Cup costume on social media earlier today with nothing more than a chain and a trophy.

The costume, based on Capcom Cup winner Saul “MenaRD” Mena’s main character Birdy, is set to be released sometime this year alongside a host of new costume DLC.

This isn’t the first Capcom Cup costume to be created, however. Capcom has made DLC costumes for some of its previous winners, too. The champion of the 2016 competition, Du “NuckleDu” Dang, designed last year’s costume for Guile, which was released alongside the Capcom Cup 2017 stage.

Now it is MenaRD’s turn to design a costume for Birdy, the character that won him the Capcom Cup against reigning Evo champion Taniguchi “Tokido” Hajime in the grand finals. MenaRD won $250,000 for his victory, the largest prize ever awarded at a fighting game tournament.

On his path to greatness, MenaRD took out a host of top players, some whom had won the Evo and Capcom Cup title in the past, including Inoue “Kazunoko” Ryota, Kumada “Itabashi Zangief” Hiromiki, and Daigo “The Beast” Umehara.

Capcom’s brief glimpse of the costume showcases Birdy’s signature chains attached to the Capcom Cup itself. MenaRD’s initials are emblazoned on the base of the trophy.

While the price for the costume has not been revealed yet, it will likely cost $5.99 in the in-game store, the same price as previous Champion Costume DLC.
