Veritas, who was set to continue playing for EU LCS team Unicorns of Love, made the last minute decision to stay in Korea after expressing feelings of being homesick. This announcement by CJ Entus comes a day after UOL publicly announced Veritas’ departure. Veritas, alongside UOL, recently won ESL’s IEM Oakland, beating teams like NA’s Team SoloMid and Taiwan’s Flash Wolves.

Avenger, previously known as GAP, previously played for Korean challenger teams like SBENU Korea and CTU Pathos. In 2016, Avenger qualified for the EU CS alongside Italian organization Team Forge. The squad failed to reach the promotion tournament, finishing the EU CS in fifth place.

It is unknown which of these two AD carries will be starting for CJ Entus when the team begins next split in Challengers Korea.
