The Starter Pack will provide you with your very first Club players in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team. This is what you’ll work with before you can challenge for bigger and better things, so naturally, picking the best Starter Pack is important. There is more to it than one pack being the definitive best, but we’ll guide you through the confusion and right into what you really, really want.

Starter Packs in EA FC 25, explained

Every EA FC 25 player receives one free pack right after they first enter Ultimate Team for the first time. This pack contains exactly 18 players to fill up your starting 11 and substitute slots. Most of these players will be Bronze, but a few Silver and Gold cards are there.

Before opening the pack, you get to choose a nation, and your EA FC 25 Starter Pack will contain mostly players from the selected nation. The choice is between the following nine nations:

  • England
  • Spain
  • Italy
  • Germany
  • France
  • Netherlands
  • Portugal
  • Argentina
  • Brazil

The nation you pick matters more than you expect from a pack mainly containing Bronze players. There are different viable options depending on what you plan to do with your Starter Pack, so let’s set you up for early success.

What’s the best Starter Pack in EA FC 25?

If you want to make the most of your first pack, pick the Spain Starter Pack in EA FC 25. Calm down, Premier League fans; we’re not saying La Liga is better. Spain and its league are the EA FC 25 season one theme, which means at least some of the upcoming Ultimate Team content will revolve around that nation and league. You can use the early opportunity to prepare for that upcoming content.

Best Starter Pack for SBCs in EA FC 25

You can go in a different direction by choosing Brazil or Argentina as your EA FC 25 Starter Pack. You can verify this using our cheapest solution for the League and Nation Hybrid SBC. South American players are great for Squad Building Challenges that require specific leagues or nations and high Chemistry. Your Starter Pack players will likely be out of your starting 11 by the second or third day anyway, so might as well use this free pack to set up a couple of SBC solutions.

Once you’re through with opening Starter packs and setting up your team, you can battle test your creation in the various Ultimate Team game modes. Ranking up in Rivals will grant you some sweet rewards, for example, and making the most out of your Starter pack will have been the foundational step on that journey.
