How to get and use Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets in Fortnite

They're a bit OP.

One of the best items you can get in Fortnite Chapter Five, season four is Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets. This weapon lets you harness immense power, but finding and using it can be a bit tricky.

Once you know how to find and use this item, your odds of getting a Victory Royale are a lot better since you have a strong weapon to help you get there. I’ve seen many players make it to the very end with this powerful item, so here’s how to get and use Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets in Fortnite.

You can get Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets by finding and beating Doombot in Fortnite. Doombot can be found sitting on top of a throne composed of The Thing’s deceased body at Doom Castle near the top right corner of the map.

Doombot’s location is also marked by his Medallion icon. There’s only ever one pair of Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets up for grabs in a match, so you have to either be the first person to defeat this boss or track down and eliminate whoever else grabbed this Mythic weapon.

If Doombot has been defeated but you’re still determined to grab this item, your best bet is to look for the light gold Medallion circle on the map to try and track the player who has them down. There are three Medallions available in each round, though, and there’s no way to tell who has which one unless you see them use the abilities associated with them.

How to use Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets in Fortnite

You can use Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets to perform two different powerful moves in Fortnite. These moves are:

  • Arcane Blast is the basic attack with this item and fires a simple but powerful move that shoots projectile blasts at your enemies. You can fire many of these shots in quick succession.
  • Mystical Bomb is the super attack associated with this item and fires a massive bomb that deals catastrophic damage against all foes. This one has a cooldown period because of how powerful it is.

The exact buttons you need to press to perform each move vary by platform, but as long as you have these gloves equipped, the controls are displayed near the left edge of your screen above the health bar. You need to know the different controls for these two moves so you can effectively fight enemies and complete specific quests like damaging opponents with Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets Mystical Bomb.

Although most of the other powerful Marvel items can be looted from Dr. Doom Chests and Avenger’s Chests, Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets cannot be. They’re a decently tricky item to get because of this, but their immense power makes them well worth the effort.
