A FNAF Mario Kart game might have just been leaked

Horrific entertainment.

Five Nights at Freddy’s, the popular indie horror series, might soon be joining the likes of Mario, Sonic, and others in getting a kart racer spin-off title if leaks are to be believed.

A mysterious video uploaded to X and found on Reddit shows a two-minute game trailer that includes FNAF-themed characters in cars driving around areas and locations inspired by the video games. Its apparently called Five Laps at Freddy’s and seems to mix horror with kart racing.

Not much else is known about the supposed leaked game from the trailer, but apparently, according to the trailer, there should be a demo dropping on Aug. 7 for people to try. So, if the leak is real, we should see some announcements in the next few days.

The game looks pretty poor and feels like something made for mobile or a low-end release over a polished title. Most of the assets seems like placeholders, so we’d be shocked if it does turn out to be real, unless it was in some kind of beta or early access state.

As with most supposed leaks, we must take anything with a pinch of salt. There is no telling if this is real or a fan project until either Scott Cawthon, the Creator of the FNAF series, or the developers officially reveal the proposed game. The trailer has apparently been getting removed a lot by other posters online, according to commentators in the Reddit thread.

Now, let’s hope that Bloodborne Kart finally comes out in the future.
