CoD’s newest MW3 store bundle includes wildest weapon inspection in series history

The animators for store bundles have been stepping up their game.

The wildness of Call of Duty’s skins gained a new chapter today, except this one is just plain awesome as opposed to weird or silly like some others that the game is known for.

The Tracer Pack: Down From the Skies Ultra Skin and MasterCraft bundle has been on the minds of Modern Warfare 3 players since it was data mined, and it can now be bought. And it’s absolutely worth the excitement.

The bundle includes seven items for 2,400 CoD Points, which is pretty standard. What’s special, though, is just how over the top this bundle is when it comes to cool animations, like the incredible weapon inspection animation for the Celestial Core XRK Stalker blueprint that’s included.

As seen in the Twitter/X post below, the Celestial Core detaches the rest of the weapon from itself and the pieces all float around before reforming in the player’s hand. This type of awesome weapon inspect previously was relegated to CoD Mobile, but they’ll be a welcome addition in MW3 and Warzone, too.

The bundle also includes the Celestial Rays blueprint for the RAM-9 SMG, and both weapons include Divine Tracers and Divine Decimation Dismemberment, to boot. The Divine Touch finishing move is also over the top as it features the player touching an enemy with just a finger to send them flying in a beautiful flourish.

MW3 has added several comedic operator skins like a really high sloth or a frog covered in mushrooms, but The Goddess operator skin for Apline is just badass. It’s a reactive skin, meaning it will crack and glow as it intensifies with your kill count. And the MasterCraft weapons that come with it, along with an incredible finishing move, really make the price seem worth it for CoD players.

The Down From the Skies bundle can be purchased now in both MW3 and Warzone.
