Vanadium Crystals are among the many resources you’ll be consistently hunting down and trying to acquire while playing Once Human. These appear throughout your journey, but tracking down enough to always have them on hand can be challenging.
You can only find Vanadium Crystals in select locations. You need to stick to searching through these areas if you want to find them while playing Once Human. Although you might advance beyond this region, it never hurts to return and gather more if you require them for select projects at your workbenches.
Where to get Vanadium Crystals in Once Human
The best way to regularly farm Vanadium Crystals is to remain in the level 21 to 30 areas in Once Human. This means you should stick to the Iron River area of the game, the third area you unlock as you progress through the story.
You’ll want to keep close to various settlements you can explore, opening up the weapons and gear crates to receive Vanadium Crystals. This resource regularly appears inside these chests as a reward. Unfortunately, these chests only respawn every four hours. You can rotate throughout the entire region, looting the chests from East Blackfell Junction or Alkirk.
There’s also a chance for Vanadium Crystals to appear inside storage chests, but I found them far less often than when looting the weapon or gear chests. Because of the random loot that can appear inside storage chests, there’s not your best chance of finding Vanadium Crystals, but it’s better than nothing if you’ve already looted the chests within that area. Once you’ve done a loop, wait for the four-hour timer to finish, and you can repeat the process.
It’s going to be tedious to loot these chests. Still, running through these locations and grabbing Vanadium Crystals is the best way to loot them. When you have enough, return to your base in Once Human and use them in crafting projects, or hold them inside a secure storage unit.
