How to get Freyna Code in The First Descendant

The First Descendant has a long list of playable characters, but unlocking them all isn’t easy—and Freyna can be particularly tricky as you need to collect Freyna Code as a crafting material.

The method to unlock Freyna in The First Descendant requires four crafting materials, which are then handed into Anais to start research—and a whopping 16-hour wait occurs before you can play the next character.

Keeping track of where each material drops can be tricky, but we’re here to steer you in the right direction to obtain the Freyna Code in The First Descendant.

Where to find Freyna Code in The First Descendant

You can obtain Freyna Code through Amorphous Material Pattern: Freyna. Complete the Rockfall: Vulsgus Strategic Outpost in the Sterile Land for this drop. But there’s only a 20 percent chance of receiving this reward.

Head to the Rockfall Outpost and travel south to farm for this drop. To make it easier, open the map and track the quest to be directed to the specific point. If the mission is not available and instead shows a countdown timer, return to Albion and then fast-travel to the Rockfall Outpost again.

Interact with the Beacon to start the mission and destroy the three marked containers: A, B, and C. When they are all destroyed, an elite enemy will spawn. Don’t worry about the other enemies and focus on defeating the elite because the others will despawn when the elite is down. This completes the mission, so check your rewards.

Repeat the process if you didn’t get the Amorphous Material Pattern: Freyna. If you did, congratulations, but the hard work isn’t over. Head east to the Void Fusion Reactor – Sterile Land Rockfall Zone. You need 12 Monomer Void Shard and three Polymer Void Shard to enter this quest. If you’re short, guess what? It’s back to the mission you were farming for the Amorphous Material.

When you finally have enough resources to complete the Void Fusion Reactor mission, complete all the necessary steps and defeat the final enemy. Then, interact with the green orb that spawns and select the Amorphous Material: Freyna to turn it into Freyna Code.
