Every G2 Esports player has reached Master on the Korean League of Legends server

Every player on the European superteam is preparing for MSI.

We’re quickly approaching the start of the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational, where some of the best teams in the world will clash for a chance at international glory. Every team attending is preparing for some of the toughest matches they’ll have to play this year, and it looks like G2 Esports are no exception.

In fact, G2 went to South Korea to boot camp for the tournament, and they haven’t wasted any time improving themselves for MSI. Every player on the team has reached the rank of Master on the Korean League of Legends server.

Top laner Martin “Wunder” Hansen has hit Master with 54 LP and a 60 percent win ratio. He also has more than 95 games played in the five days they’ve been in Korea, which is an impressive amount. Notably, Wunder has been playing a lot of Neeko in the top lane and boasts a 75 percent win ratio on the champion. Could this be a sign of what G2 plan to play at MSI?

Additionally, Rasmus “Caps” Winther has been playing a lot of Neeko as well. This means that Neeko could be another champion that’s been added to this team’s incredible champion pool and composition flexibility.

Even Hampus “promisq” Mikael Abrahamsson—who’s G2’s substitute support for the sidelined Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle—has hit Master rank in Korea. Many teams head to Korea because the ranked ladder is incredibly competitive compared to North America and Europe, and the fact that G2 players have reached such high levels just shows how talented they all are.
