When will UFL release?

UFL could change soccer games forever.

No soccer game has ever come close to EA FC (previously FIFA), but a free-to-play newcomer may be enough to tip the scales. If you’re wondering when this potential EA FC-killer comes out, here’s everything you need to know about UFL‘s release.

UFL is set to launch on Sept. 12, 2024, two weeks before EA FC 25’s release. Pre-ordering a copy of UFL gives you early access to the game. Early access for UFL starts Sept. 4, 2024.

The developer previously offered two open betas in the leadup to UFL’s full release. These betas concluded on June 9 and Aug. 5. As the soccer game’s full release approaches, the open betas gave fans exclusive access to Ranked mode, with the sole focus being gathering feedback from the players.

UFL doesn’t need to worry about sales due to its price point. This puts it in an advantageous position over EA FC 25 and eFootball 2025. The question is: With UFL releasing before the two prevalent soccer franchises, will this positively impact its sales, and can it get its metaphorical football boot through the door?

Crossplay and couch co-op is available for all UFL platforms. But can UFL overtake EA FC? Now that UFL‘s open betas have closed, there’s nothing left to do but wait until Fall 2024 rolls around for this new soccer experience. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on at the official UFL X account and mark your calendars for September.
