You can unlock Bunny in The First Descendant by completing her respective subquests. After you reach the second battlefield in Kingston, you receive a subquest called Obtaining Bunny Suit Basic Materials, which has multiple stages.

Complete the main story and you should unlock the Bunny research materials passively, as both require you to complete the same missions. Bunny is something of a Tutorial Descendant, meant to be the very first one you unlock, similar to the Rhyno in Warframe.

Once you have all the research materials, head to Anais (in the west area of Albion in a round research room) and start the research. Wait one minute—then, all that’s left is to have fun zipping around in your new bunny suit.

It sounds like a lot, but you can get all of this done in as little as one hour.

All Bunny research materials in The First Descendant and how to get them

To get all of the research materials for Bunny, fully clear the Kingston area as a part of the main quest. It’s made of multiple Battlefield Missions and Duties of the Descendant missions, and after all that, you have to complete a Void Intercept Battle to get the final item.

Here are all of the Bunny research materials and how to unlock them:

ItemHow to obtain
Bunny Enhanced CellsComplete the Vulgus Field Generator mission in The Fallen Theater area of Kingston
Bunny StabilizerFinish the Infiltrate the Magister Lab mission in The Fallen Theater area of Kingston
Bunny Spiral CatalystComplete the Vulgus Data Transmitter mission in the Grand Square area of Kingston
Amorphous Material pattern: BunnyComplete the Slumber Valley mission in the Grand Square area of Kingston
Bunny CodeDefeat a GraveWalker in a Void Intercept Battle on Normal difficulty
400,000 GoldObtained naturally by playing the game

Essentially, finish all missions in Kingston, and when you return to Albion, destroy the GraveWalker once. Remember to use the Reconstructed Device at the end of the Void Intercept Battle to open the Amorphous Material with the Bunny Code.

Since Bunny is your first unlockable character, all the material drop rates are guaranteed. However, further research involves some luck and RNG when it comes to drop rates and opening the Amorphous Materials.
