Here are the groups for the MSI 2019 play-in stage

Group A is looking like the group of death in Vietnam.

Riot has finalized the Mid-Season Invitational play-in stage, with the eight minor representatives being split over two groups. Teams were put into higher and lower-seeded pools before the draw based on their region’s international performance in the last two years.

Group A features Turkish powerhouse 1907 Fenerbahçe, Vietnam’s Phong VÅ© Buffalo, LATAM’s Isurus Gaming and Oceania’s Bombers.

In Group B, SEA’s MEGA, CIS’ Vega Squadron, Japan’s DetonatioN FocusMe and Brazil’s INTZ e-Sports will fight it out for a chance to make it to the group stage.

The winner from Group A will play against Team Liquid while Group B’s winner will have to go up against Flash Wolves for a spot at the group stage. The losers of the play-in knockout matches will have one last chance to qualify in an elimination match to join Invictus Gaming, G2 Esports and SK Telecom T1 at the group stage.

The Mid-Season Invitational starts on May 1.
