Black Ops 4 update version 1.17 is live and can be downloaded. The update is a 11.437 GB file on PS4. Treyarch released the patch notes for update 1.17 at 12pm CT.

Operation Spectre Rising is now live on PS4, introducing new maps (including a remastered version of the fan-favorite WMD), weapons, and Spectre, a Specialist from Black Ops III. Major changes have also been made to the traditional Blackout battle royale map.

Submachine guns were the target of weapon tuning in this update. Most SMGs were buffed, but the move speed during ADS was slightly reduced on the Saug 9mm’s Stock II attachment. Although Stock II isn’t used on the Saug by professional players, many fans will be curious to see if the other SMG changes impact the meta at this weekend’s CWL London event.

The full patch notes are available on the Black Ops 4 subreddit.
