Both teams entered the series with 4-0 records, and they looked evenly matched immediately with Heretics squeaking out a Hacienda Hardpoint map win by seven points to take an early lead.

Splyce bounced back with a Hacienda Search and Destroy win, though—but the Spaniards showed their strength in Control by sweeping the three rounds to put themselves back on top in the series. And with another intense Hardpoint win, Heretics were able to improve to 5-0 and hand Splyce their first loss of the season.
