Uninvited Guests is the first level in Ghostrunner 2 and mostly serves as a recap and introductory mission, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t juicy secret collectibles to be found.
In Ghostrunner 2, you can find tons of hidden items in each level—some are simply cosmetic or bits of lore, while some will actually make Jack stronger and more formidable. You can replay levels in Ghostrunner 2 at any time, and for the most part, they are all linear and fairly short. This means replaying a level to pick up collectibles you missed the first time around is actually fast and pain-free, once you know where to look.
Read on to learn exactly where you can find every collectible item hidden in level one, Uninvited Guests.
Ghostrunner 2: All collectible items in level one—Uninvited Guests
The first level of Ghostrunner 2 wastes no time in sprinkling hidden goodies around—there are five Artifacts and two Swords hidden in Uninvited Guests. There are not any Audio Logs or Memory Shards—those are both added in the next level.
All in all, you’re looking for:
Artifacts | Five |
Swords | Two |
Memory Shards/Audio Logs | N/A |
So there you have it. Even on level one, there are seven secret collectibles to be found. Let’s get into it!
Ghostrunner 2: All Artifact locations in Uninvited Guests
There are five Artifacts to be found in the first level of Ghostrunner 2. If you look at your mini-map in the right hand corner of the screen, you will see they are actually marked with a blue Question Mark icon that helps tremendously for finding them.
Still, knowing where they are is only half the battle—the other half is figuring out how to actually reach them.
Artifact one: Recruitment Flier
The first Artifact in Uninvited Guests comes after the parry tutorial in the long cement hallway. At the end of the hallway, take a left instead of going through the green door. You will see a vent that can be accessed with one jump—the Recruitment Flier Artifact is inside.
- In the cement hallway with the parry tutorial
- Turn left at the end of the hallway, enter the vent
- The location can be seen on your mini map with a blue icon
You can actually see the Artifact through the grating on the wall before finding the hidden vent, which is fairly typical in Ghostrunner 2. As I mentioned, finding them isn’t usually the hard part—reaching them is.
Artifact two: Energy Drink
The second Artifact in Uninvited Guests is found shortly after the first when Jack enters that large, open room with tons of shipping containers. Actually, there are two Artifacts in this room, and both are fairly easy to find.
To find the Energy Drink Artifact, first keep an eye out for the icon on your mini map, which will inform you that it is somewhere on the right side of the large room. The actual artifact is at the top of a sort of giant Lego staircase made of shipping containers, and you can easily climb up to reach it.
- In the large open shipping container room
- Find the Artifact icon on your mini map
- The Energy Drink is at the top of stacked shipping containers on the right side of the room
Before you move on from this room, make sure you pick up Artifact Three as well—it’s on the other side of the room.
Artifact three: Alternate Currencies
This one is located in the same room as the second Artifact, only it’s on the left side instead of the right. Other than that, it isn’t any more difficult to reach than the second one.
The Alternate Currencies Artifact can be reached by climbing up a row of shipping containers on the left side of the warehouse room and then entering a cutaway section of the wall. At the start of the shipping container line, you can actually see the Artifact through grates in the wall.
- Same warehouse room as Artifact two
- Climb the shipping crates on the left and enter the cutaway section of the wall
Artifact four: Tarot Cards
The fourth Artifact in Uninvited Guests is a little bit more difficult than the first three to reach, but not by much. Shortly after the tutorial that introduces dashing through cracked walls, there is a rail across a short gap with a wall-running platform to its left. The entrance to the fourth Artifact is above the rail and can be reached via the wall-running platform.
Again, the minimap is your best friend. Many of the environments in Ghostrunner 2 are packed full of detail and use the same geometry, so the easiest way to know when you’re in the right place is to look out for the icons on your minimap.
Once you’re in position, use the platform on the left to dash onto a ledge above the grinding rail. On the left of this platform is a cracked vent that you can dash through. After the vent, slide under one gate, and then dash through one final cracked vent. Artifact four, Tarot Cards, is past this vent.
- Just past the wall breaking tutorial
- Use the wall-running platform to the left of the grinding rail to reach the ledge above the rail
- Dash through two cracked vents and find Artifact four
Artifact five: Grilled Rat Meat
The last Artifact in Uninvited Guests is pretty easy to find. As you’re going into the room with the very high ceiling and several different platforms with enemies, Grilled Rat Meet is found on the “southeast” corner of the room from where you entered.
The best way to reach this location is by grappling to a hanging wall-run platform and then a vent immediately after when you enter the room. This vent slides down and lets you out right next to the Artifact. At the bottom of the slide, turn right and you’ll see it behind a grated wall with a pathway around directly in front of you.
- In the southest corner of the massive multi-platform room
- Grapple to the wall-running platform and then the vent
- Slide down the vent and find the Artifact on your right
After you’ve got these five, you will have found all of the Artifacts hidden in Uninvited Guests. Don’t start speedrunning just yet, though, because you still have two Swords to find.
Ghostrunner 2: All Sword locations in Uninvited Guests
In addition to five Artifacts hidden in level one, you can find two new Swords. Swords are marked with the same minimap icon as all other collectibles, so you can’t actually know for certain what you’re finding until you’ve collected it.
The best way to find Swords is the same tip as for finding Artifacts—use your minimap! Locations and settings are prone to repeating in Ghostrunner 2, but you’ll always know when you’re in the right place by watching out for the blue question mark on your minimap.
Sword one: The Owl
The Owl is a beautiful blue and white geometric katana with tons of Cyber flare.
This Sword is easy to find. In the gloomy exterior area where you first start swinging on poles, you can see a collectible icon that looks like it’s below you. If you look down, you can see there is an exhaust pipe wide enough for you to safely drop into.
After dropping, dash through the vent where you landed. The Owl Sword is past this vent.
- In the area where you first start swinging from poles
- Instead of swinging on the two poles, drop down to the pipe and dash through the vent
I’m actually using The Owl in the video above if you’d like a sneak peek of how it looks when equipped.
Sword two: Tesa_Bloodbath074
This Sword is a little generic in my opinion but, hey—it takes five seconds to grab.
In the outdoor area with tons of advertisements towards the end of Uninvited Guests, you can see a vent on the left of the first platform. Simply sliding down this vent takes you to the location of the last collectible hidden in Uninvited Guests.
- Large outdoor advertisement area
- Slide down the vent on the left of the first platform
Ghostrunner 2: Uninvited Guests collectible summary
All in all, there are five Artifacts:
- Recruitment Fliers

You can replay levels from the Ghostrunner 2 main menu at any time, so don’t panic if you’re worried you missed one the first time around. You have all the time in the world, and can always track your collectible progress for each individual level.
